According to People magazine, former Olympian Bruce Jenner is transitioning into a woman. The 65-year-old is filming his journey and will share it in a docu-series this year.
I’m not surprised about this. The signs and rumors have existed for years. I look at pictures of him in the 1970s and see a woman in a man’s body. I also perceive a woman athlete competing in ancient Greece. His energy is very female (not feminine) to me. That might include female lost souls (souls clinging to his aura, living through him), but they’re not the base of his gender identity, in my perception.
Side note: Many transgender people have surgery to feel more complete. It’s their body and they can do what they want with it. But I also think some of them might not feel the need to make such a drastic and permanent change through surgery if they accept that we’ve all been both genders in past lives, and will be in future lives.
Another side note: A lot of people think this might be part of an elaborate Kardashian publicity scheme. Based on what I perceive about Bruce, I disagree. I don’t think Bruce cares about publicity. I think he’s going public about his transition because he feels he’s in a position to help people, and that this was one of his soul’s goals before incarnating.
What does astonish me about Bruce’s transition is the hatred directed at Bruce and other transgenders.
Sadly, the majority of opinions about Bruce are very negative. Here are a few comments from under one of the articles about his transition:
“What. The. F**k… If someone had told me 40 years ago the guy who was the hero of the 1976 Summer Olympics would become a…whatever? People like this are obviously not grounded in reality, and have a mental disorder.”
“Use to be an American hero…now he’s an American zero. And a Freak. What a depraved and demonic people we have become.”
“Pathetic….I’m not much into biblical talk but if their ever was a time for God to end our world now is the time….society has gone to hell.”
“What an incredibly selfish thing to do at this stage in his life. The father of 6 children pretending now to be a woman…what a narcissist.”
“I think everyone should pray for this guy including all those others who changed their gender.. After hearing their stories on why they did it it made me SICK!! I don’t think this makes God too happy!!”
“Wow, he is a prime example of the decline of American society”
“LOL, I cannot help but laugh; he looks like a psycho!!! I remember watching him in the Olympics … so handsome! What a sad, sad, pathetic shame. He/she is really quite ugly now, and obviously mentally ill. Not buying the tranny shtick.”
“Do you not know that this is Demonic, what is the one thing that all the pagan cults had in common for the beginning of time. It was always centered around perverted sex. That’s what happens to a person when the mess around with evil they opne themselves up to be possessed. It’s not Mr Jenner that is doing this but a unclean spirit that has taken over his soul. My question is where’s the church.”
A small percentage of reasonable people came to Bruce’s defense:
“The pagans in Northern Europe didn’t go for perverted sex. They lived by honor codes that have been passed down in stories such as King Arthur. The Christians were the ones cutting off boy’s balls to make them sing falsetto.”
“I’ve never read a more pathetic comment section of fearful, hateful and ignorant bleatings about gods and demons and utter bullshit about mental disorders and choices and how this is not normal. NO ONE is “normal”, look to your own hypocrisy and skeletons and deal with that.
“Why does it bother anyone if it is his personal choice? Why isn’t he allowed to be happy and do it exactly what he wants? I don’t understand all of the anger and criticism. It’s really none of your f****** business what he does.”
“I can’t imagine the torment of living in a body for years, and feeling like I don’t fit it. He obviously tried his best to do what society deems. I’m happy for him that he will finally be able to live his true life and to finally be who he was born to be – completely.”
“I’m not a fool I don’t watch the show or care, but I can relate with his journey and how should he go about it stay inside hidden under a rock? Goes out to the store so must be begging for attention, you speak as if you have the slightest idea what kind of decision bruce made and how many years of his life he’s struggled with this. I know for me I’ve dealt with this since I was 4 its not easy or fun”
I also don’t understand the anger and criticism. Though they may be too ignorant and intolerant to even consider them, here are 10 reasons people shouldn’t ridicule Bruce Jenner:
1) They don’t understand what it’s like trying to ignore feeling like your gender doesn’t match your body and how doing so can cause depression and many other problems.
2) They don’t understand that this feeling doesn’t go away, no matter how many marriages or kids you have.
3) They don’t understand how damaging it can be to live your life for the approval of others.
4) They don’t understand what it’s like for your best path to be one that will make you the target of many unkind comments or worse.
5) They don’t understand how fortunate they are that being who they are is accepted by society, that life is much easier if the gender of your physical body matches the gender of your soul.
6) They don’t understand that gender is not the same as sexual orientation.
7) They don’t understand the connection between the body, soul and past lives.
8) They don’t understand that God does not see transgenders or gays as “perverted” or “demonic” or any other terrible name they call them.
9) They don’t understand that it’s none of their business what other people do with their lives.
10) They don’t understand that if they focus enough negative energy at transgenders, they might experience what it’s like to be the target of such in a future lifetime in order to learn compassion and tolerance. I hope their transgender lifetime isn’t too challenging for them.
