Some skeptics claim that a near death experience or NDE is just the brain’s reaction to trauma or the body dying.
The woman in video above experienced an NDE when she had brain surgery. She was clinically dead for an hour and describes her incredible experience.
Did she really experience life after life or was it just her brain playing tricks? Since she was able to give details about the surgery and conversations that took place in the operating room while she was clinically dead, things she couldn’t have known, this can’t be ruled simply a case of her imagination or a brain response.
Based on my experience with NDE within past life regressions of myself and others, along with my past life research over the last 20+ years, it’s my educated opinion that people who experience an authentic NDE really do cross over to the other side and there is life after death, even for those who don’t believe in it.
Here are 11 things you may not know about NDEs:
1) Some people have reported seeing a place they perceived as Hell, but it seems this often happens as the result of religious programming or a reminder to make better choices in life.
2) Heaven, or the other side, is not a place of reward, but where we return after the physical body dies in order to review the most recent life, learn, rest, and prepare for future lives.
3) Most people describe being on the other side as feeling like they were “home.”
4) While many report being met by religious figures in “the tunnel of Light” immediately after dying, they seem to exist as a temporary illusion for the individual to make them feel more at ease and usually match the individual’s belief system. Once they get beyond the tunnel, there is no religion on the other side.
5) The next step of an NDE after the tunnel of Light is typically a life review where people experience every scene from their life, both from their perspective and others. In other words, if they hurt or helped someone, they will feel what that person felt. Not as a punishment, but in order to learn. This can be painful because on the other side you aren’t able to hide behind justifications or excuses for your behavior.
6) Since there is no concept of time on the other side, someone who is clinically dead for only 10 minutes may have an NDE that seems like hours or more.
7) Most who have an NDE are told on the other side, usually by a loved one who died previously, that it’s not their time to die yet and that they need to return to their body on Earth.
8) Since being on the other side feels like being enveloped in pure unconditional love and the most wonderful feeling they’ve ever felt, most do not want to return to their body. However, most are informed that they still have things to learn and tasks to accomplish in that body.
9) The majority of people become more spiritual and less religious after an NDE.
10) Most who have had an NDE claim that the other side is more real than life on Earth, and that each lifetime is just a tiny speck in the existence of the soul.
11) Most people who experience an NDE are transformed in a major way; they become more compassionate, intuitive, empathic, peaceful, less materialistic, and realize that loving others is most important.
