Everyone goes through dry spells, or periods when they feel invisible or stuck.
Do any of the following statements apply to you?
— Single and not enjoying it.
— Single and having trouble meeting compatible people.
— In a relationship, but it’s not harmonious at the moment.
— Unsure about career direction.
— Suffering from low energy and finding it difficult to be enthusiastic about anything.
If so, it’s easy to blame other people, circumstances, or your age when things don’t go your way.
Instead, you’ll feel empowered if you accept where you are, take responsibility for your situation, and take action, such as using the following tricks to get your groove back:
1) Alter your diet. Feeling heavy and tired? It’s hard to project confidence and compassion when you’re weighed down by a poor diet. What you fuel your body with greatly impacts how you feel.
It may take a lot of trial and error to find a plan that truly works for your body. At the very least, avoid sugar (and consume no more than 25g of fruit sugar each day), processed foods, fruit juices, and soda (diet and regular).
2) Exercise at least 4 days per week. If you are already doing so, change your routine. Try HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) which is much better for you than long cardio sessions; less than 20 minutes for each session is all you need. Try yoga or stretching.
3) Get some sun. Cautious sun exposure is better than none. Careful of chemical sunscreens, which are toxic for your body. Cover your face to avoid excess wrinkles, slap on some raw, virgin coconut oil (which has a natural SPF of 8) or a non-chemical sunscreen, and enjoy the rays. Exposing most of your skin for an average of 20 minutes, a couple days a week, weather permitting, will give your body the natural vitamin D it needs.
4) Spend some time in nature. A walk in the woods or a day at the beach can do wonders for your peace of mind.
5) Buy some new clothes or rediscover some items lost in your closet. You don’t need to spend a lot to look good and feel confident about your appearance.
What if you’ve tried the methods above and you’re still not getting your grove back? The next two are some of my favorite, lesser known tricks that always help me:
6) Pay attention to your personal timing. Your life has seasons. Some of them are appropriate for certain goals, some are not at all. “Good” or “bad” periods can last for a few days, a month, or longer. An expert can help you pinpoint when these periods are in your life, in relation to specific goals, as reflected by comprehensive numerology and astrology (not horoscopes and other superficial forms of the sciences). You can often get a sense of what your personal timing is like by how you’re feeling over longer stretches of time. If you don’t like where you are now, do what you can to change it, accept what you can’t, and be patient for better timing.
During unfavorable timing for dating or romance, for example, you’ll likely feel less attractive and pretty much invisible. Use these periods for self-improvement rather than throwing pity parties for yourself.
7) Try subliminal and hypnosis MP3s. It’s amazing how your life can improve by changing your mind and perception about something. I’ve used subliminal and hypnosis audio recordings (my own and others) for over 30 years for relaxation, discipline, self-confidence, sense of humor, loving yourself, incredible sex, compassion, intuition and psychic abilities, memory, sleeping deeply, improving appearance, forgiveness, abundance, and more. Subliminal and hypnosis audios can help you reach goals, rise above difficult times, or give you an edge.
8) Lastly, stress and routine can derail your happiness, so one of the most important tricks to get your groove back is to mix up your routine and try something new, relax, have fun, and do what makes you happy!
