I have been told that when someone has a fear they cannot explain, the answer might lie within a past life. I have a fear about relationships that is the opposite of most people. I do not fear being single, I fear being in a partnership, being trapped. When I leave, I always feel relieved and happy to have my freedom back, and that I made the right decision. it almost feels that I am being guided in a way. Can you tell me anything about a past life that may be causing this fear and who it is that might be guiding me? From what you wrote and based on my many years of past life regression experience, I believe it’s very likely you’ve had several lifetimes where you really were trapped in a relationship. For example, being forced to marry someone you didn’t like, and suffering in an abusive relationship.
I sense that you not meeting a more compatible person yet is part of the problem, but the fear of being trapped would likely still surface in a great relationship.
You could use a past life regression MP3 to “go back to the root cause” and explore more about why you feel trapped in relationships. This will help you understand the feeling and rise above it so it doesn’t cause problems for you in the future.
It’s also likely you subconsciously remember living lifetimes in periods of history when the relationship customs were more freedom oriented and less restrictive. These memories make the relationship model that is popular today seem archaic and torturous.
Feeling trapped in a relationship is a common problem. Romantic illusion + a legally binding marriage contract + a couple growing apart does not equal happiness.
There’s nothing wrong with loving your freedom and not wanting a traditional relationship, one that’s based on ownership. Lots of people feel the same way and they’d be a better match for you.
You probably are being guided about your love life and are meant to be single at this time so you have the energy to focus on other things.
